Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CDL A Truck Driver to join our team in St. Louis. As a Local Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to local restaurants in Illinois and Missouri.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a diesel-powered tractor-trailer combination truck to transport and deliver products.
  • Drive truck to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicles in difficult situations.
  • Inspect trucks for defects before and after trips and submit report indicating truck conditions.
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations and other federal and company required records/logs.
  • Unload/load product at store with assistance from store personnel.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and current DOT Medical certification card.
  • One year driving tractor-trailer experience.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to maintain positive customer relations climate.
  • Capable of standing, walking, and repeatedly climbing into and out of road tractor or switch tractor.
  • Ability to frequently lift/handle cases ranging from 5-50 pounds.
What We Offer
  • Union job with Teamsters 710.
  • Hourly pay of $33.70/HR.
  • Start time at 3pm till finished.
  • Drivers work 4 days on 3 days off (Guaranteed 40/hrs. a week).
  • Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Weekend incentives pay (Saturday & Sunday) additional $2.00/ HR.
  • 5Th & 6th Day hourly premium, $10.82/HR on top of OT pay.
  • 100% touch Freight delivery (reefer Trailer exp is a plus).
  • Home daily (night routes).
  • Lift gates on trailers – no ramps.
  • Weekly pay – paid every Friday.
  • Benefits to you and your family within 30 days of employment.
  • Drivers provided company work boots and uniforms.
