We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaper Senior to join our team at the Commonwealth of Virginia. As a key member of our landscaping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and integrity of our outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a small crew of landscapers to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
- Develop and implement landscape maintenance plans to meet the needs of our clients.
- Operate and maintain complex landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other machinery.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding pesticide applications, watering needs, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of landscaping projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in landscape maintenance, with a focus on senior-level roles.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- VDACS Registered Technician certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading a small crew and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance software and technology.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
