Job Summary

As an Anesthesia Technologist II at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist anesthesia providers with equipment preparation and maintenance
  • Set up and operate rapid infusers and other medical equipment
  • Monitor and maintain anesthesia machines and related equipment
  • Perform daily quality checks on equipment and report any issues
  • Assist with patient care and provide support to the healthcare team
  • Participate in continuing education and stay up-to-date on new technologies and procedures
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Anesthesia Technology
  • Certification by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technologist
  • Advanced knowledge of anatomy and physiology
  • Good body mechanics and safe lifting techniques
