We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Owenton Healthcare and Rehabilitation. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
- Take and record patient vital signs, lifting, moving, and transporting residents using proper body mechanics.
- Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager, asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
- Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
- Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
- Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.
- At least one year of experience as a CNA in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide Assistant program.
- Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA.
- Must be able to pass a Drug Screening.
