Job Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Infusion RN to join our Oncology & Infusion team. This part-time position involves working Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, with no weekends or holidays required. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in oncology nursing, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in chemotherapy administration. A current Minnesota RN license and Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification are required.

Responsibilities
The Infusion RN will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of patients before, during, and after infusion therapy, managing IV lines, administering chemotherapy medications, and providing comprehensive education to patients and their families. Additionally, the successful candidate will collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, assess and manage symptoms, and provide emotional support to patients and their loved ones.

Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a holistic approach to patient care. You must prioritize patient safety and approach patient care with compassion and empathy. At least 1 year of chemotherapy administration experience and a strong commitment to ongoing professional development are also essential.

Benefits
Lakewood Health System offers a competitive salary of $ $68,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
