Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled PET/Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our Imaging Services Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of providing the region's best clinical care and patient service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adapt imaging procedures to ensure quality diagnostic outcomes
  • Select the most appropriate and cost-effective action plan after reviewing all pertinent data and assessing the patient's abilities and condition
  • Evaluate lab values prior to administering contrast media or radioactive isotopes
  • Perform venipuncture, IV patency, and maintenance according to established guidelines
  • Administer radioactive materials and/or contrast agents according to established guidelines
  • Observe patient and equipment during procedures, document patient reactions or problems on requisitions, and report immediately to supervisor
  • Reconfirm patient identification using two unique identifiers (Name and DOB) and verify procedure requested
  • Assess factors that may contraindicate the procedure, such as medications or insufficient patient preparation
  • Document patient and exam occurrences in PACS/RIS to include exam start and complete times
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • Current registration and licensure by the Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS)
  • Current registration and licensure by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine (NM) or Current Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education preferred from an accredited program for Nuclear Medicine Technology via ARRT or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist via NMTCB
