Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team at BlueOval SK Battery Park in Glendale, Kentucky. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical control systems for our battery manufacturing processes. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical control systems for battery manufacturing processes
  • Implement and test control systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical control system issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth facility operations
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for control systems
Requirements
  • Experience with electrical control systems and PLC programming
  • Strong understanding of electrical circuits and control systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to travel to other facilities as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical control systems and PLC programming
  • Experience with Mitsubishi PLC/HMI/VFD/SERVO/MOTION systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
