Senior Sales Director

The General Sales Manager is a key position at our Automotive Dealership, responsible for overseeing the new vehicle sales operation. This role requires strong leadership skills, as you will be accountable for the quality, capability, and effectiveness of the retail sales and F&I force.
We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
In this role, you will work closely with the sales team to ensure that objectives for sales, profits, and cost controls are met. You will also be responsible for developing, training, and supporting a professional sales team that can provide customers with an outstanding dealership experience.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

- Develop, train, and support a professional sales team
- Review development goals for all sales department members
- Conduct performance reviews to help team members achieve individual goals
- Manage the dealership's new vehicle and pre-owned sales operations
- Establish and improve policies and procedures
- Achieve consistently high scores and positive feedback from customer surveys
- Manage the sales process
- Develop a business plan
- Produce management statistics that show Sales Consultants continuously improve their proficiency
