Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Seasonal CT Technologist to join our team at Tampa General Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT and X-ray equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
  • Position patients, manipulate technical factors, and ensure completion of imaging exams
  • Deliver exceptional patient care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring completion of imaging exams
  • Complete all required documentation for imaging exams
  • Apply principles of radiation safety to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others
  • Assess diagnostic images for technical quality, proper annotation, and patient identification
  • Demonstrate proficiency in contrast medication administration with and without power injectors
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all facility policies, procedures, and protocols
Requirements
  • Technical training or A.S. degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current Florida licensure for General Radiography
  • Current registry with ARRT for Radiography
  • Current BLS certification
