About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Associate to join our team at Morrison Healthcare - St Peter. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare food items according to established production schedules and meet outlined standards for quality and presentation.
  • Serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning and ensure that food is at the correct temperature and attractive.
  • Use established ticket collection procedures during service periods and maintain accurate records from the area worked.
  • Clean the kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and storing or discarding excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in food preparation required.
  • Able to operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
  • Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required.
  • Report needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
