Job Summary:
Triage Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist to join our team. As a Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and obstetric emergencies
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including physical and emotional evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
