As part of our organization, you will engage in defense technology projects and R&D, benefiting from a vibrant work atmosphere equipped with cutting-edge simulation technologies, integration specialists, and seasoned military Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Our focus is on conducting capability evaluations for emerging military technologies and ensuring that the associated tools and methodologies effectively inform Department of Defense (DoD) decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:

In the role of AFSIM Testing Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating and testing military models and entities of varying complexities within AFSIM.
  • Utilizing dynamic scripting techniques to simulate entity actions and interactions in AFSIM.
  • Designing and refining test scenarios that facilitate the assessment of actions, reactions, and interactions among entities in the AFSIM environment.
  • Contributing to the formulation and implementation of MS&A test plans utilizing AFSIM.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts, including pilots and technologists, to resolve AFSIM outcomes.
  • Working with team members to analyze studies, interpret AFSIM results, and prepare comprehensive study reports.
  • Partnering with agile AFSIM software development teams to enhance MS&A solutions.
  • Engaging with study leads and customer stakeholders to ascertain study requirements and devise appropriate technical strategies.

Required Qualifications:

Due to the sensitive nature of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or a related technical field, accompanied by at least 5 years of relevant analytical experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in creating AFSIM scenarios and models for engagement or mission-level studies.
  • Applicants will undergo a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information, requiring a TS level U.S. DoD security clearance.
  • Possession of TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Capability to apply scientific methodologies to diverse MS&A tasks.
  • Experience in scripting or programming.
  • Aptitude for teamwork and collaboration.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Active security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level or higher.
  • Familiarity with tools such as STK, JMP, Python, C++, or R.
  • Understanding of contemporary military systems, both domestic and international.
