Position: Marketing Specialist

This role is based in our downtown office

Key Responsibilities

  • We are looking for a detail-oriented and professional Marketing Specialist to join our vibrant team.
  • The Marketing Specialist will assist in the daily marketing operations across multiple channels.
  • This position will collaborate closely with our social media, digital marketing, design, and sales teams to ensure a cohesive marketing strategy.
  • Manage the brand's marketing schedule to maintain consistency across all platforms.
  • Help create promotional materials (digital, print, and in-store content) for retail partners.
  • Support the team with administrative duties, including maintaining the marketing calendar, scheduling meetings, organizing assets, and distributing agendas and recaps.
  • Assist in the execution of special events, including trade shows and industry-related gatherings.
  • Oversee the distribution of in-store and product page materials for launches and promotions.
  • Work with the digital team to gather necessary images, graphics, and videos for new product launches.
  • Maintain a tracker for images and assets across all retail channels to ensure the accuracy and availability of marketing materials.
  • Manage sample requests from the marketing department and retail partners.
  • Coordinate seasonal market meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Assist with copywriting, proofreading, and updates as needed across various marketing assets.
  • Conduct research on consumer preferences, market trends, and competitor activities in retail sectors.
  • Analyze competitive products, including their features, market share, pricing, and advertising strategies.
  • Provide additional support for marketing team projects and initiatives as required.
  • Assist with logistical functions such as organizing asset folders, shipping samples, responding to inquiries, processing invoices, and updating calendars.
  • Draft briefs and assist in the execution of special projects.
  • Create video content for unique initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as necessary to support business growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing or sales, particularly in beauty, retail, or consumer goods.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage effectively at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Capability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills are essential.
  • High attention to detail, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit (must be a team player).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
