Clinical Services Specialist - Queens

$58,000 - $68,000 per year

About the Role

MercyFirst is a non-profit agency providing innovative community-based social services for children and families in need. We are seeking a qualified Clinical Services Specialist to join our team in Brooklyn/Queens.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Social Work with an LMSW or MHC with a limited permit, experience in assessing and treating children and families, and knowledge of child development stages and family dynamics.

Responsibilities:

  • Use accepted techniques of assessment and therapeutic intervention demonstrating competency in trauma treatment via individual and group sessions
  • Provide individual counseling and treatment, substance abuse counseling and treatment, trauma-informed counseling and treatment, family and group counseling
  • Work with the Treatment Team/Care Team to establish treatment goals for youth/children utilizing historical and current information available
  • Practice use of Evidence-based treatment models: CBT, TF-CBT, SPARCS, ARC
