Job Title: Process Safety Engineer

An exceptional opportunity for a skilled Process Safety Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our operations.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional with expertise in Process Safety Management (PSM) to lead and support our site's Process Safety Management strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process engineering, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.


About the Role:
  • Lead and support the development and implementation of Process Safety Management (PSM) strategies across the site.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish a robust PSM program that meets regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Apply engineering principles to troubleshoot process problems and improve safety, efficiency, and yield.
  • Act as the liaison between the company and clients on PSM-related matters.
  • Provide technical support to operations and engineering teams to ensure safety is integrated into all processes and designs.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

Certification: Certification in Process Safety Management (PSM) or related safety certifications (CSP, OHST, ASP) is highly desirable.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience participating in a Process control role AND 2 years of EHS experience OR a minimum of 3 years of experience in Process Safety Engineering

Skills: Proficient in the use of computers and several Windows-based applications; experience with Six Sigma, Lean Enterprise, and Continuous Improvement projects is desired; Six Sigma certification is preferred but not essential.
