Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Kokomo Manor, a 130-unit affordable property in Howard County, Indiana. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for completing preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and apartment turnovers to ensure a high standard of cleanliness, customer service, and a hazard-free environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete work orders in a timely and accurate manner, including cleaning up after work is complete.
  • Perform repairs on the property, including painting, basic carpentry or wall repair, plumbing, and electrical.
  • Clean apartments during the turnover process, as directed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of basic building maintenance, either through training or experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year in skilled maintenance work.
  • Technical training in one or more building trades preferred.
