Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Mitchell County Regional Health Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to medical and surgical patients, ensuring safety, quality, and continuity of care.
- Direct and guide patient teaching and ancillary personnel, exercising independent judgment in directing the work of others.
- Work closely with various therapies, such as RT, PT, ST, and OT, to provide multidisciplinary care to patients.
- Float to Emergency Room and Outpatient Treatment Center with experience, as directed by Acute Care Nursing Director.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited program in professional nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the State of Iowa.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Maintains certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates knowledge and support for the principles of customer relations in daily activities with others.
- Demonstrates nursing competency to provide care within the assigned unit to the population described in the scope of care.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Completion of a telemetry course within one year of hire.
