About the Role

This is a night shift only position as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse in our 46-bed level IV NICU at Doernbecher Children's Hospital, part of Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide continuing care and monitoring of critically ill newborns in various locations outside the NICU.
  • Work collaboratively with pediatric surgeons and subspecialists to deliver high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications
  • 1 year of RN experience in a level 3 or higher NICU.
  • Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing Degree from a program accredited by CCNE, ACEN, or CNEA.
  • Current, unencumbered Oregon State Registered Nurse License.
  • BLS and NRP certifications issued by the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Internal Applicants: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Stable Certification for those with NICU experience.
  • Resource: 2 years level II/III/IV experience preferred.
  • Bilingual: Spanish/English.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience. Additionally, OHSU provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
