- About the Department:
- Clinical Education: The Clinical Education department provides education and training programs for clinical staff, including onboarding and orientation programs, competency management, and professional role development.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding/Orientation: Develop, coordinate, manage, facilitate, conduct, and evaluate onboarding and orientation programs for clinical personnel.
Competency Management: Develop, coordinate, manage, facilitate, conduct, and evaluate initial and ongoing competency programs for clinical personnel.
Education: Design, implement, and evaluate educational activities and programs based on identified practice gaps for a specific target audience.
Professional Role Development: Identify and develop strategies to facilitate a continuous process of growth through lifelong learning, including role transition, role integration, skill acquisition, and skill mastery.
Quality Improvement/Evidence-based Practice/Research: Integrate the best research evidence into didactic and clinical education design.
Collaborative Partnerships: Consult, advise, teach, and coordinate with other individuals, groups, departments, and/or institutions concerning education and learning.
Requirements:
At least 3 years related clinical and/or nursing experience required. Documentation of previous teaching experience preferred.
Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
