Job Summary:
PSSI is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Safety Team Member to join our team. As a Food Safety Team Member, you will play a critical role in protecting the nation's food supply by ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and food safety are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with and around PSSI-issued sanitation chemicals to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Clean and sanitize plants, equipment, and facilities to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with food safety policies and procedures.
- Perform physical activities such as lifting, pushing, and pulling of sanitation equipment to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, promoting a culture of safety and quality.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull sanitation equipment as needed.
- Compliance with all food safety and safety policies and procedures.
