About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Transportation and Infrastructure Team in St. Louis, Missouri. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing power systems, electrical distribution, and lighting systems for various transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical engineering design tasks for power systems, electrical distribution, and lighting systems.
  • Develop electrical calculations for loads, equipment sizing, and voltage drop.
  • Prepare data and visualizations for the interpretation or presentation of data, findings, or analyses.
  • Design electrical systems for buildings, facilities, roadways, airports, and other unique projects.
  • Participate in sustainable design projects geared toward energy efficiency and resiliency.
  • Produce designs and develop construction drawings within software modeling applications.
  • Support senior engineers and project managers with design and document development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering-Electrical.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant post-education experience in an electrical engineering capacity designing power transmission and distribution systems.
  • Engineer in Training Certification.
  • Experience with electrical engineering principles, practices, process, design, and construction.
  • Experience using the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other electrical standards.
  • Proficient in technical writing, office and remote communication platforms, mobile technology, spreadsheets, and other software applications.
  • Experience using software applications Revit MEP or AutoCAD for electrical designs.
