Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to join our team at 301 South Academy Management. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcoming and thanking guests in a warm and friendly manner
  • Answering questions and providing accurate information in a polite and courteous tone
  • Maintaining a clean and organized waiting area, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere for our guests
  • Answering phone calls and directing guests to areas of the hotel
  • Assisting servers, bussers, and managers to ensure a smooth service
  • Performing opening, closing, and side duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • 1 year of restaurant experience (preferred)
  • Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of organization, attention-to-detail, and sense-of-urgency
  • Positive and friendly attitude towards guests and colleagues
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Ability to work different shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends
Education and Language Skills

High School diploma or equivalent, general education degree or international equivalent preferred. Good knowledge of the English language is mandatory, with the ability to speak, read, and write clearly.

Ability to read and listen to instructions, memos, short correspondences, and messages.
