Job Responsibilities

Key Duties:
As a Permanent Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing patients' physical status, functional abilities, needs, and objectives to develop effective treatment strategies.
  • Executing tailored treatment plans aimed at restoring, reinforcing, and improving performance.
  • Documenting goals, expected progress, and plans for reassessment.
  • Educating patients and their families about physical therapy treatment strategies while promoting wellness and injury prevention.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech therapists to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Maintaining precise, comprehensive records and reports, monitoring patients' progress, and modifying treatment plans as needed.
  • Engaging in professional development activities and keeping abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and technologies.

Qualifications:
To qualify for this exciting position, candidates should possess:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.
  • A valid Physical Therapist license in the relevant state.
  • A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Proficiency in utilizing physical therapy equipment and technology.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the capability to adapt treatment plans to meet individual patient needs.
  • Capacity to manage a diverse patient caseload, effectively prioritizing tasks.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits as necessary.
