Job Description and Duties

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Associate Governmental Program Analyst to join our team at the Secretary of State's Elections Division. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our electoral processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate state-level candidate statement submissions and ensure timely processing.
  • Assist with the preparation and mailing of the state voter information guide.
  • Serve as a backup on state initiatives and referenda, providing expert analysis and support.
  • Assist with submissions of new political party qualifications and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Strong English grammar, spelling, proofing, and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply current laws, rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
