Cedars-Sinai is a leading healthcare organization that is committed to providing high-quality patient care, education, and research. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Postdoctoral Scientist to join our team in the Medically Associated Science & Technology (MAST) Program.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of researchers and clinicians to advance our understanding of gastrointestinal (GI) motility disorders and the microbiome. The Postdoctoral Scientist will be responsible for designing and performing experiments, analyzing and interpreting data, and contributing to the preparation of grant proposals and publications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and perform experiments to advance our understanding of GI motility disorders and the microbiome.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and patterns, and to inform the development of new research protocols.
- Contribute to the preparation of grant proposals and publications to secure funding and share research findings with the scientific community.
- Collaborate with the research team to design and implement new research techniques and protocols.
- Participate in the development of new research projects and contribute to the growth and success of the MAST Program.
Requirements:
- Doctorate degree (MD, PhD, VMD, or DDS) in a field directly related to research specialization.
- Experience working independently on research projects, with a strong background in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific writing.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with researchers, clinicians, and other stakeholders.
