Responsibilities
  • Accurately document and execute tasks as outlined on repair orders, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Drain and refill engine oil, replacing oil and air filters as necessary
  • Inspect and replenish vehicle fluid levels
  • Check and adjust tire pressure
  • Coordinate with the parts department to acquire necessary components
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Ensure accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Perform tasks specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership guidelines
  • Conduct test drives and evaluate vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  • Communicate directly with Service Advisors to keep customers informed about additional services required
  • Provide estimates for time needed for further repairs
  • Execute warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications
