Job Summary
Hauling asphalt, road base, and other construction materials to and from various paving and construction sites in and around the Colorado Springs and Pueblo area is a key responsibility of this role. The job also involves loading/unloading and transporting construction equipment while working closely with the crew to complete projects efficiently.
Requirements
- Class A CDL with tanker endorsement.
- At least 1 year of CDL driving experience preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in the Asphalt Industry is a plus.
- Self-starter and punctual, willing and able to work weekends and nights as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Familiar with all FMCSA rules and regulations in the operation of a CMV. Able to perform and document a Pre and Post Trip Inspection.
- Safety-minded and able to work well with changing schedules.
- Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
Compensation
The base hourly compensation for this role is $24.50+ depending on experience, exclusive of benefits or bonuses. The offered base hourly compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. At Martin Marietta, we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the compensation for those in similarly situated roles and direct team members.
