MainStreet Family Care is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care in our urgent care setting. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, treating patients of all ages and handling a wide range of medical conditions.
Responsibilities
Our Family Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and treating common illnesses and injuries, such as colds, flu, strep, and upper respiratory issues
- Performing minor procedures, such as toenail removal and foreign object removal
- Suturing and splinting
- Reviewing x-rays and providing general orthopedic evaluations
- Providing general dermatology care and treating general eye problems
- Interpreting EKGs and providing emergency management skills
- Providing general GYN expertise and treating children of all ages
- Providing occupational medicine and telemedicine services
Requirements
To be successful as a Family Nurse Practitioner at MainStreet Family Care, you will need to have:
- FNP certification and a Master's degree in Nursing or higher
- Experience working in an urgent care setting or similar environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
