As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, treating patients of all ages and handling a wide range of medical conditions.

Responsibilities

Our Family Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing and treating common illnesses and injuries, such as colds, flu, strep, and upper respiratory issues
  • Performing minor procedures, such as toenail removal and foreign object removal
  • Suturing and splinting
  • Reviewing x-rays and providing general orthopedic evaluations
  • Providing general dermatology care and treating general eye problems
  • Interpreting EKGs and providing emergency management skills
  • Providing general GYN expertise and treating children of all ages
  • Providing occupational medicine and telemedicine services

Requirements

To be successful as a Family Nurse Practitioner at MainStreet Family Care, you will need to have:

  • FNP certification and a Master's degree in Nursing or higher
  • Experience working in an urgent care setting or similar environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
