Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team at Ohio State University Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Certification and Licensure
    • Hold current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS
    • Obtain and maintain state licensure as required
  • Experience and Skills
    • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist, with prior travel experience preferred
    • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Technical Requirements
    • Proficiency in Epic or similar electronic health record systems
    • Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed
  • Additional Requirements
    • Pass a background check and obtain any necessary clearances
    • Provide documentation of current certifications and licensure
Work Environment

This is a travel position, requiring the ability to work in various locations and adapt to new environments. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
