Job Summary

Seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to provide medical services to clients in our detox and residential programs. As a Contingent LPN, you will work on a as-needed basis to ensure the health and well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide health care services to clients in detox and residential programs
  • Conduct pre-admission screenings and schedule admissions according to program criteria
  • Manage client admissions and discharges, including completion of medical documents
  • Perform hourly checks on detox clients and complete COWS/CIWA assessments as required
  • Administer and record medications as prescribed by attending physicians
  • Facilitate health education groups and maintain a substance-free environment
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure client medical stability and safety
Requirements
  • 1 year of licensed nursing experience
  • Experience in substance abuse preferred
  • Good communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Electronic Medical Records experience preferred
  • Current Michigan license as a Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse
