Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mixer Operator to join our production team at Hamilton-Ryker. As a Mixer Operator, you will be responsible for operating crème mixing machines to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate crème mixing machines to mix ingredients together to produce final products.
  • Identify and remove unacceptable product quality per customer requirements.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Perform required housekeeping tasks, including sweeping floors and putting trash in containers.
  • Record ingredient usage and accurately use measuring equipment.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and employees from all departments.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and meet company attendance standards.
  • Comply with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Perform other functions as assigned, such as setting scales and metal detectors.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with close proximity to others.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for eight hours per shift and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work in variable temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Ability to work well with others in stressful situations and meet deadlines.
