Job Summary:

As a Registered Dietitian with RWJBarnabas Health, you will play a vital role in providing medical nutrition therapy and sports nutrition education to individuals and groups. Your expertise will be essential in collaborating with healthcare teams and performance professionals to optimize athlete performance.

Responsibilities:

Provide nutrition therapy counseling for individuals and sports nutrition education groups
Collaborate with healthcare teams and performance professionals to develop and implement nutrition programs
Conduct community outreach and counseling sessions with contracted schools
Develop and implement telemedicine and virtual educational programs

Requirements:

Registered Dietitian (RD) within the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
2-3 years of experience in sports nutrition
Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) required

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems
