About the Unit

We are a 64-bed Inpatient Rehab Unit that provides care to patients with a variety of needs, including orthopedic and neurology patients. Our team works together to help patients achieve their goals and return home to their families.

Scope of Work
  • Provides care to patients according to the plan of care, unit routine, and hospital policy under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
  • Safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher, dispatch services, and appropriate documentation of services.
  • Provides the services of an Observer for patients who require constant observation, either in person or via remote video monitoring, to maximize their safety.
  • Performs general receptionist and clerical duties to facilitate efficient functioning of the nursing unit.
  • Documentation of care provided in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications
