We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Early Intervention Specialist to join our team at About Play. As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting families and children with developmental delays or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality early intervention services to children and families in designated areas
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans
  • Conduct home visits and community-based assessments to identify and address developmental needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote child development and family engagement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or related field
  • 1 year of experience working with children birth to six years old, preferably in early intervention or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (Heartsaver, Infant & Child)

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of $40,000 per year
  • Travel mileage reimbursement at.45 per mile up to a $565 reimbursable monthly cap
