Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • 5+ years of Elasticsearch development and experience in building and managing Elasticsearch clusters (ideally within an enterprise-level domain)
  • Configured and optimized Elasticsearch ingest pipelines, implementing ingest processors to ensure data flows efficiently into Elasticsearch while maintaining data integrity
  • Architected and managed high-performance, distributed Elasticsearch clusters, ensuring scalability, performance, and availability in enterprise-level environments
  • Led Elasticsearch cluster upgrades from version 6 to 7 and subsequently to version 8, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance post-upgrade
  • Managed Elasticsearch clusters to meet stringent security and compliance standards, ensuring proper access control, data protection, and audit logging in line with industry regulations
  • Conducted performance tuning of Elasticsearch clusters, optimizing shard allocation, index settings, and query execution to reduce latency and improve search response times under high traffic conditions
  • Deployed and maintained production-ready Elasticsearch clusters, including configuration of Elastic aliases, beats, and agents
  • Worked closely with clients to design and implement solutions that met their search technology needs, providing technical consulting on search architecture and Elasticsearch optimizations
  • Some experience with Java asynchronous programming, multithreading, implementing APIs, and Microservices, including Spring Boot
  • Some knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with Systems Design & CI/CD pipelines
  • Cloud computing, preferably AWS
  • Solid verbal and written communication and consultant/client-facing skills are a must. As a true consultant, you are a self-starter who takes initiative.
  • Can work onsite 5 days/week
