About the Job

This full-time opportunity involves performing home visits for senior living clients in Montgomery County, providing skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to support their healthcare needs. As a Physical Therapist at BAYADA, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, working collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities
  • Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories, conducting diagnostic tests and assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions tailored to each client's unique needs
  • Educate and instruct clients, family members, or caregivers on rehabilitative techniques and strategies to promote optimal recovery and independence
  • Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations related to client care management and services provided
Requirements
  • A current PA Physical Therapist license
  • A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist
  • Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, with strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
