We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at LewisGale Physicians Blacksburg Women's Health Specialists. As an essential member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced ultrasonic technology.

Job Summary and Qualifications

You will schedule and prepare patients for ultrasonic diagnostic procedures, ensuring they understand what to expect and explaining the procedures clearly. Your responsibilities will also include performing ultrasonic diagnostic procedures, positioning patients, selecting the appropriate transducer, managing processing and documentation, and maintaining ultrasound equipment.

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer and be certified in diagnostic ultrasound according to state regulations. A current ARRT or ARDMS license is required. We are committed to providing a safe and supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.
