Job Title: Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at DCS Clinical. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and well-being for our patients.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental hygiene, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented professional looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning deposits and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins.
  • Conduct oral cancer screenings, feel and visually examine gums, and assess levels of recession.
  • Expose and develop radiographic studies, and apply fluorides and other cavity-preventing agents.
  • Manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification and emergency supplies.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and plaque control, and provide postoperative instructions and reminders for follow-up appointments.
  • Document dental hygiene services by recording vital signs and medical and dental histories, and charting in patient records.
  • Maintain dental equipment and supplies, and ensure operation of dental equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
Requirements:
  • Registered Dental Hygienist licensure in the state of Georgia.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent patient care skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
