Job Description

Family Central is seeking a dynamic and passionate Early Childhood Education Director to lead our team of dedicated educators. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and implementing daily group and individual activities that promote physical, mental, and social development in our young students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Development: Create and implement a daily schedule that meets the needs and interests of our students, using a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
  • Activity Planning: Plan and lead daily group and individual activities, including games, arts and crafts, music, and storytelling, to promote physical, mental, and social development.
  • Child Interaction: Interact with each child on a daily basis through circle time, centers, snacks, lunchtime, and playground activities.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our team of educators to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Associate's Degree or above in Early Childhood Education or a related field, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least three (3) years of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center.
  • Credentials: Active child care staff credential (CDA) and CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Skills: Caring and nurturing attitude towards children, excellent customer service skills, and bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation is required.
