Job Overview
GILLIG, a leading transit bus manufacturer in the United States, is seeking an experienced Product Validation Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering new and current product programs on time and with the highest level of reliability and quality.

The Role
You will lead the validation planning and execution for New and Carryover Vehicle Programs. Your responsibilities will include creating comprehensive validation plans, testing methods or simulations, and reporting efforts for program milestone gating events. You will also spearhead workgroup activities by coordinating and documenting requirements, design verification and validation with component, subsystem, system suppliers or external testing resources/facilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor Science Mechanical Engineering (BSME), Bachelor Science Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or other Engineering discipline preferred. A Master's degree in an engineering discipline is a plus. You should have minimum 7 years of progressive product engineering experience, demonstrated technical responsibility in automotive, on/off highway or transportation equipment. Heavy-duty industry experience is a plus. You should also have proven experience with any or all the following: ICE, electrified powertrains, collision avoidance and autonomous vehicle technology, chassis/body structures, steering/suspension systems, air brake systems and vehicle dynamics attributes.
