Job Summary

Nucor Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Associate to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained, adhering to high standards of housekeeping and safety protocols.
  • Identify potential hazards and take proactive measures to address them, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Respond to facility-related emergencies in a timely and effective manner, demonstrating a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of facility activities, reporting any issues or concerns to management in a clear and concise manner.
  • Assist with special projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in janitorial/housekeeping, customer service, or general labor.
  • 2 years of experience in a janitorial or housekeeping position is preferred.
