Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. As a member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, evaluate, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care plans to achieve the goals of the nursing department.
- Respond to Code Blue situations within the facility and initiate protocol, special procedures, and cardiac monitoring.
- Manage the efficient flow of patients, including screening, preparation for examination, providing general nursing care, and arranging or testing and admissions.
- Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when needed.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider certification preferred and required to be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer date.
- Prior acute care Registered Nurse experience preferred.
