About the Opportunity

A leading healthcare organization in New York City seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to join their team at an inpatient mental health facility in Brooklyn.

Key details of this opportunity include:

  • 5 shifts per week, with every other weekend
  • Hours: 11:30pm to 8am
  • Setting: Inpatient care environment
  • Patient Population: Adults (Ages 18+)
  • EMR System: MAARS
Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assessing patients' physical needs
  • Administering medication as prescribed by physicians
  • Admitting, discharging, and transferring patients based on physician orders
  • Assisting with procedures and physical exams
  • Recording progress notes and other relevant data into patients' medical records
  • Collecting vital signs, drawing blood, etc.
  • Conducting checks of treatment rooms to ensure equipment is present and functioning properly
  • Performing other duties as needed
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • 1+ year of clinical experience
  • An Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • A valid NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS certification
Salary Estimate

The estimated salary for this role is approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This estimate is based on national averages for Registered Nurses in New York City, taking into account factors such as location, experience, and industry standards.
