About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Optimization Specialist to join our team at Amazon Web Services, Inc. As a key member of our Customer Transformation team, you will play a critical role in driving successful IT transformation and cloud adoption for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a financial advisor and collaborate with our AWS account team to build and deliver executive content, including financial business cases, ROI and TCO analysis, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Become the subject matter expert in all cost and commercial related aspects of the customer life-cycle.
  • Educate and enable customers with tools to successfully manage cloud and IT spend.
  • Assess and identify reporting and analytic needs of customers, and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Communicate, establish, and measure KPIs to track progress and success of transformation and optimization within customer organizations.
  • Manage numerous requests concurrently and strategically.
  • Understand and communicate billing, forecasting, and budgeting best practices.
