About Our Team

We are seeking a Senior Systems Architect to join Lenovo's Cloud Service Provider Group (CSP). This dynamic, customer-focused team is dedicated to adapting to evolving market needs and delivering tailored solutions. We pride ourselves on having comprehensive capabilities to address even the most specialized requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with customer engineering teams and Lenovo's sales and marketing divisions to gather and analyze customer requirements.
  • Develop specifications and documentation that outline the next generation of hyperscale platforms.

Lead the CSP development team in crafting design proposals that encompass:

  • Product and system specifications
  • System architecture and placement
  • Showcasing Lenovo's design and engineering prowess
  • Strategic planning and development initiatives to secure customer engagement and business opportunities
  • Engagement with suppliers and partners for hardware components such as storage devices, network controllers, FPGAs, and other emerging technology hardware.
  • Collaborate with internal and external engineering teams to finalize competitive product designs and troubleshoot issues concerning schedule, cost, design quality, and reliability.
  • Take a hands-on approach to resolve technical challenges faced by both Lenovo and our customers.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of practical experience in server development with extensive knowledge in server/storage hardware engineering design.
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • Experience with customized product development is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Intel x86, AMD, Nvidia, FPGA, and ARM technology roadmaps and their implications for future datacenter architecture.
  • Proven experience in customer engagement, successfully delivering products that meet client specifications.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate challenging communications with customers.
