We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Administrative Officer to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the hospital's strategic and operational plan, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and addressing local community population and patient needs.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the hospital, working closely with other senior leaders to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of exceptional, patient-centered care and safe, high-quality access and outcomes.
- Operational Excellence: Achieve the highest level of performance in RWJUH Rahway operating units, establishing, monitoring, and managing strategies to ensure productivity, operational and financial performance, and patient throughput.
- Financial Management: Oversee the hospital's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and achieving financial targets.
- Collaboration and Partnership: Foster robust, meaningful, and mutually beneficial relationships with community partners and physician members, representing the hospital and system in local and national organizations and helping to recruit and retain high-quality physicians.
- Leadership Development: Collaborate with Human Resources to recruit, develop, retain, and enhance employee engagement and foster a culture of collaboration and enthusiasm.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including accreditation standards, Joint Commission regulations, and HIPAA guidelines.
- Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in healthcare administration, business administration, or other related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of healthcare experience, including five years of executive leadership within a community hospital that is a member organization of a larger, multi-hospital system.
- Skills and Abilities: Established business sense, ability to operate in a matrixed organization, leadership of high-performing teams, effectively collaborating and operating as a change agent, and driving results.
