Pentair is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Project Engineer to join our team in Hanover Park, IL. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in driving process improvements and capital projects that enhance our manufacturing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for plant operations, ensuring seamless assembly line processes and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Implement lean-manufacturing techniques to streamline production and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with production personnel to develop and implement process improvements, including fixturing and tooling, time studies, and troubleshooting.
  • Source vendors and manage contract deliverables for external services.
  • Monitor process performance and implement capital and non-capital projects to meet quality and engineering standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, with Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
  • Experience with capital equipment installation and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and resource allocation.
  • Basic knowledge of PLC programming, ladder logic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and servo motion control.
  • Experience in troubleshooting sonic and spin welding, and robotics programming (Fanuc preferred).
