We are seeking a skilled and compassionate ER Registered Nurse to join our team at Emerus, a leader in small-format hospitals. As an ER Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, Plan, and Implement Patient Care: Conduct thorough assessments of patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques to promote health and well-being.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Document patient information, treatment plans, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.
- Education: Associate's degree in nursing, Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of full-time experience as a Registered Nurse in an ER or comparable setting.
- Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association, ENPC certification from ENA may be substituted for PALS certification, TNCC preferred.
- Language: Fluency in English, written and oral communication.
