Job Summary

Ryder is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Midland, TX. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, brake and tire work
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems
  • Replace defective components as instructed
  • Perform facility maintenance duties
  • Interact with customers/drivers to properly determine nature of complaint once assigned a task
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred
  • Basic tools, required
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred
