Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Della Infotech. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures using magnetic resonance imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures with precision and accuracy, ensuring high-quality images for radiologists to interpret.
  • Screen patients for contraindications and take necessary precautions to ensure safe and comfortable exams.
  • Obtain and review requisitions for examination, ensuring all necessary information is obtained.
  • Explain procedures to patients, alleviating anxiety and facilitating cooperation.
  • Maintain diagnostic equipment, ensuring it is clean, disinfected, and in good working order.
  • Prepare examinations for interpretation, including correct identification and processing of films.
  • Assist radiologists during the administration of contrast media, practicing aseptic technique.
  • Recognize allergic reactions and respond accordingly.
  • Practice standard precautions and infection control policy standards.
  • Assist with patient scheduling and preparation.
  • Ensure each patient receives the highest quality service possible.
Requirements
  • 2 years of MRI experience required.
  • ARRT with MR registry required.
  • Possess applicable state license required.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Ability to float between Reno and Carson City on a weekly basis.
